Why are “The Beatles” the best rock band ever?



​Currently, the music has changed totally, there are a lot of new genres and new artists, which their objective is to be famous and get a lot of money through their music, in my opinion, that is so ridiculous. In comparison with 60's and 70's rock bands, in that years, those great bands made real music, they really wanted to give us fun and satisfaction in each song. It's true that there are a lot of great bands in the history of the music, such as: Queen, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, The Who and others, but in my opinion, there will never be another band like “The Beatles”, without a doubt, they are the best rock band ever, and I'm pretty sure of it because I have important reasons to explain.


​First, century 21 artists are just a trend, I mean, their music is not nice and the principal topics in their songs are sex, parties, and drugs. Is that ok?, Is that real music?, I think that is so stupid. Even though they were so famous, in a couple of years everybody will forget them. Here is my first great reason about why I believe that The Beatles are the best, looking back, We all know that the history of The Beatles started in 1960, approximately 50 years ago. Now it is 2012, and their music is alive, their great songs are alive, and their music is about love, happiness, and positive things. In comparison with current music, The Beatles were not a trend, they really made great music, each song is a masterpiece, their rhythm is unforgettable, also, everybody knows songs like “Yesterday”, “Hey Jude”, “Love Me Do”, etc. Although time passes, nobody will reach the glory like them.


​Second, The Beatles music is accepted and enjoyed by people of any age, and the letters of their songs are white, I mean that there is no problem to listen an album from them in family. It is incredible to see how the new generation prefeer their music, and in concerts of Paul McCartney or Ringo Starr, you can see children, teenagers, and older people, they all enjoying and sharing a great moment with their favorite band. Is it happen with current music?, I'm pretty sure that the answer is “NO”. This is another reason to support my opinion about Why I feel that “The Beatles” are the best. We don't need to make an intensive comparison to see the truth. In spite of the fact that current music is increasing as a business, they will never have the prestige and approval of the great music lovers.


​As a conclusion, nowadays is not important to have a great knowledge about music, anyone can record a song, and that is indignant. It's true when a lot of people say “Old music is better than today's music”. It is important to stand out that old music is alive and the new generation is preferring it. I'm in complete agreement when I say that the Beatles music will never die. I really hope that all the people could open their eyes and realize the great music, because the music is a way to express most of feelings and not just three or four minutes of sound. What We have to do, is enjoy the music, enjoy the lyrics and specially, We have to learn to admire the great things, not surface things.
